Tajik Woman with Red Scarf
Our trip into Afghanistan took about 15 hours from Dushanbe, Tajikistan. During that time we would stop to take a break. During one of the stops, the locals would sell various items. This woman in the red scarf with painted eyebrows was one of the people selling things.
Before I took this picture I asked her permission, which had to be done in sign language as she didn't speak English and I didn't speak Tajik.
